The marina at Puerto Aventuras is the main transportation hub for the region, so buses and colectivo vans will stop here as they make their way from Cancun to Playa del Carmen or Tulum. You can also find taxis on the road in front of the marina. There are also a few ATMs in the vicinity and at the marina’s entrance, as well as two currency exchange locations. Mexican pesos and American dollars are both widely accepted at most restaurants and stores in the area.
